We’re a team that couldn’t be more diverse: from seasoned veterans to young up-and-comers and career changers – it’s the mix that makes the difference! One person’s weaknesses are another’s strengths – it’s precisely this combination that makes us strong together. We offer scope for all innovative thinkers, motivators and those who really understand our guests. We’re #madeforthefuture – the only thing missing is you!

About us:

Here, you’re right at the heart of it all! They say we’re the leading establishment in town. History has been made here since the 12th century, and we’re continuing the story. On the one hand, we bring history to life and are always at the forefront of celebrations. On the other hand, we’re always coming up with new ideas and are known for our fresh concepts and cool surprises. You’ll notice this in our team too: creative ideas are given space to flourish and successes are celebrated together.

Do you enjoy turning history into new experiences? Then, as a Hotel Administration Assistant (m/f/d) at our Hotel Gothisches Haus Wernigerode, you’ll be part of the right team!

This is where you can shine

As a Hotel Administration Assistant, you will support the hotel management and the hotel’s administrative departments with organisational, commercial and operational tasks. You will ensure that administrative processes run smoothly, that information reaches the right people, and that the various departments work well together in their day-to-day operations.

The role acts as a key link between the management, administration and the hotel’s operational departments.

  • Carrying out monthly stock-takes, analyses and internal audits in collaboration with the heads of specialist departments
  • Structured management of documents and records (inventory management – stock-takes) and involvement in the implementation and roll‑out of a future inventory management system (2027)
  • Preparing and tracking orders, as well as liaising with suppliers in the non-food sector (excluding food and beverages)
  • Assisting with the verification of invoices in the accounts department for assigned suppliers and maintaining item, supplier and master data
  • Taking on independent administrative projects for DSR Holding GmbH (e.g. sustainability) and assisting with management projectsCreating, compiling and maintaining overviews, reports, key figures, statistics and analyses
  • Coordinating cross-departmental information and tasks, and working closely with the kitchen, restaurant, housekeeping, spa and reception
  • Point of contact for administrative enquiries in day-to-day operations

What sets you apart

You keep on top of things even when several things are happening at once. You enjoy working in a structured way, contribute ideas and recognise independently where support is needed. In doing so, you see yourself not just as a traditional assistant, but as an organisational link who ensures that processes run smoothly behind the scenes.

You enjoy coordinating matters, collating information and seeing tasks through to completion.

Your profile

  • Ideally, you’ll have completed a commercial apprenticeship or an apprenticeship in the hotel/tourism sector with some initial work experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook, along with a head for figures and a business-minded approach
  • Organisational skills and a structured, independent approach to work
  • Good written and spoken German
